• Marcus Smart struggled with his shot on Wednesday but shined as a facilitator, dishing out eight assists in the Celtics’ Game 5 victory over the Bulls.

He went just 3-of-9 from the field, but Celtics fans have to be encouraged by his willingness to swing the ball to open teammates.  Smart finished with eight points, one steal, one block, three boards and two 3-pointers, and his defense was critical down the stretch.  He squared off against both Jimmy Butler and Dwyane Wade, forcing the Bulls’ stars into difficult shots all night.  The Celtics have to be hoping he brings that same fire to Friday night’s elimination match.
