• Marcus Smart gave the Celtics 26 quality minutes off the bench on Wednesday, scoring nine points with 11 boards, six assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Smart did a little bit of everything tonight.  He shot the ball well when given clean looks outside, and capitalized on sloppy Wizards rotations with snappy passes and stampeding drives to the cup.  More importantly, Smart was a constant nuisance defensively.  He spent most of the night matched up against one of Washington’s two perimeter stars and did not disappoint, forcing awkward turnovers and harrying any and all shooters in his vicinity.  He’ll look to keep things rolling in Friday’s Game 6 in Washington.
