Celtics coach Brad Stevens said he isn’t concerned about Marcus Smart’s recent shooting slump.
Smart has never had a consistent shot but according to Stevens, “his two biggest strengths are still his competitiveness and his brains. He’s really smart, and he’s really tough. And those two things mean more than any points or no points that he could score.” In the month of March, Smart has shot just 29.8 percent from the field and 17.6 percent from 3-point range. He’s not a great shooter but definitely better than this. If he can learn to score consistently, he’ll be able to increase his fantasy value that is strictly based on defensives stats right now.
