• Mario Hezonja - F - New York Knicks

Mario Hezonja had his best game of the young season with 10 points, eight boards, three steals, three assists and two triples on Sunday vs. the Wizards but the Knicks got wiped out 108-95.

Mario hit 4-of-9 shots and was the most productive member of the Knicks on Sunday. Tim Hardway Jr. experienced back discomfort during the game and wasn’t able to finish the contest. If you’re adventurous, the Knicks play four games next week and Mario is likely on the waiver wire.

  • Bradley Beal - G - Washington Wizards

Candace Buckner of the Washington Post is reporting that the Wizards' recent "volatile" practice included verbal altercations between Bradley Beal and Austin Rivers and John Wall and Jeff Green.

The recently-reported fine for Wall came as a result of his response when Scott Brooks tried to intervene in the situation. Beal reportedly told team president Ernie Grunfeld that "it starts at the top" when things got heated between he and Rivers, and Bucker is also reporting that Kelly Oubre swore at Brooks on the bench during a recent game. Things are a mess in Washington right now.

  • Myles Turner - F/C - Indiana Pacers

Myles Turner is questionable to return to Monday's game after spraining his left ankle.

Turner went into the locker room just moments ago so this is a pretty quick update from the team. Domantas Sabonis will hold down the fort at center while Kyle O'Quinn will take on the backup work.

  • JJ Redick - G - Philadelphia Sixers

J.J. Redick left Monday's game briefly with a bloody nose but is available to return.

This shouldn't affect the sharpshooter going forward at all and it was good to see him make a quick return from the locker room.

  • Myles Turner - F/C - Indiana Pacers

Myles Turner is headed towards the locker room in the first quarter of Monday's game.

No word on how Turner picked up the apparent left leg injury. If he's forced to miss any time it'll be lots of Domantas Sabonis for the Pacers. We'll keep you posted.

  • John Wall - G - Washington Wizards

John Wall was fined by the Wizards for cursing at Scott Brooks during a recent practice.

So, to recap: This morning Adrian Wojnarowski reports that the Wizards would be willing to listed to trade offers for anyone on the roster, Shams Charania reports that the Wizards had a volatile practice that featured multiple verbal altercations, J. Michael reports that Bradley Beal has no interest in staying with the Wizards past his current contract and now Woj caps it off with Wall's fine. It's been a big day for the Wizards. Wall reportedly hit Brooks with "F— you" after the coach wanted the team to raise its intensity. Wall apologized to Brooks and his teammates shortly after. He's been able to maintain early-round fantasy value despite the dysfunction in Washington.

  • Aron Baynes - F/C - Boston Celtics

The Celtics made a late lineup change on Monday, sending Gordon Hayward to the bench in favor of Aron Baynes.

No word on the reason for this change — perhaps the Celtics want Hayward to get more usage leading a second unit that lacks a go-to scorer. Baynes' fantasy value doesn't change but this could end up being a good thing for Hayward assuming he still gets his usual minutes.

  • Rudy Gay - F - San Antonio Spurs

Rudy Gay will be in the lineup on Monday night when the Spurs face the Pelicans.

There was some thought that Gay would sit tonight having played on Sunday but he'll be out there as San Antonio tries to add to their win streak. Expect Gay to get a handful of rest days throughout the season.

  • Wesley Matthews - G/F - Dallas Mavericks

Wesley Matthews (hamstring) will not play on Monday.

Matthews went through a pregame warmup to see if he could go but his strained left hamstring is still giving him some troubles. With the Mavs also missing Dwight Powell and J.J. Barea out tonight, we'll see a lot of extra minutes for bench guys like Dorian Finney-Smith, Maxi Kleber and Jalen Brunson. It doesn't sound like Matthews will be out much longer but hamstring injuries can be tricky.

  • Wesley Matthews - G/F - Dallas Mavericks

Wesley Matthews will determine his status for Monday's game after going through a pregame workout.

Matthews is dealing with a left hamstring strain but seems close to a return, even if that doesn't happen tonight. Stay tuned for updates on tonight's game.

  • Bradley Beal - G - Washington Wizards

    J. Michael of the Indianapolis Star is reporting that it's a well-known secret among front offices that Bradley Beal will not stay with the Wizards past his current contract.

Michael used to be on the Wizards beat with NBC Sports Washington, so it's not surprising that he would have some D.C. connections. This got stirred up when Shams Charania reported earlier today that the Wizards recently had a volatile practice where Beal told management "I've been dealing with this for seven years." The dysfunctional Wizards are desperate for change, and while they'd probably prefer to avoid dealing one of their backcourt stars they may not have a choice.
