Speaking on SiriusXM on Wednesday, Mark Cuban said that Kristaps Porzingis will have his load managed this season.
Cuban said, "KP coming back from an injury, we're going to certainly load manage him." Porzingis missed all of last season while recovering from a torn left ACL. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect a full complement games from Porzingis this year, though it is unknown exactly how aggressive the Mavs will be with their load management. There's a fair bit of intrigue around a player who should be a second-round lock in fantasy drafts, and there are likely plenty of fantasy owners who would rather avoid Porzingis entirely than deal with the load management headache.
