Markelle Fultz shot an ugly 2-of-13 from the field in Wednesday’s 89-110 loss to the Grizzlies.
You can see why there’s all that talk about the Sixers trying to tinker with Fultz’s shot. While messing with someone’s mechanics might not always be the right play in the long-term, some poor shooting is definitely going to hold Fultz back in year one. He also missed his three 3-point attempts and racked up just four points, two rebounds and three dimes on the evening. He also didn’t shoot any free throws, but he’s talked a big game about improving there. The hype train is slowing down here but you’re still likely to see Fultz fly off draft boards well before pick No. 100.
