Markieff Morris scored 13 points on 6-of-10 shooting (including a three) with five rebounds and two assists over 28 minutes in Friday’s blowout loss to the Cavs.
Morris is hanging around the top 100-110 over the last two weeks, averaging 24.4 minutes with 8.3 points to go with 6.4 boards, 1.4 steals, 0.9 blocks and 38.2 percent shooting from the field. It looks like the favorite to hold down the starting job and his minutes should continue to trend up. We’ve maintained that he has top-75 upside and a late-round floor and so far so good on that projection.
