Markieff Morris has been diagnosed with transient cervical neuropraxia and will be limited to non-contact work for the next six weeks.
Morris visited a neck specialist in Dallas yesterday, and this is the diagnosis. He's expected to make a full recovery and should return this season, which is great to hear considering how serious neck injuries can be. Thomas Bryant remains a must-own player in all formats with nobody around to chip away at his minutes via small-ball lineups, while Jeff Green has a good shot at holding late-round value as well. Sam Dekker gets a boost in deep leagues. Morris himself probably isn't worth holding, but if you have IR spots you can put him there for now and make a move if your team is hit with multiple injuries.
