MarShon Brooks shot just 3-of-10 in Wednesday's season finale, scoring nine points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals and a three in 23 minutes against the Thunder.
Brooks stormed back onto the NBA radar after a few years away with five straight 20-plus performances but cooled off over his last two, shooting a combined 7-for-26. Still, he did well to return to the big leagues and surely caught some attention with his explosive performances. Brooks also was a major player in the fantasy playoffs, as any owner who took the plunge early made out like a bandit. He posted top-15 value on a per-game basis and was able to contribute helpful numbers outside of the scoring column with assists, steals and 3-pointers. It was an unlikely story but a bright spot in a terrible year for the Grizzlies.
