• MarShon Brooks
    SG, Memphis Grizzlies

MarShon Brooks got on an NBA floor for the first time in nearly four years and ended up pouring in 21 points to go with one rebound, two assists, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers in the Grizzlies’ win over the Blazers on Wednesday night.

What a world we live in. The Grizzlies, in the middle of a tank, give MarShon Brooks a 10-day contract to play his first NBA game since April of 2014 and he ends up scoring a team-high 21 points to lead Memphis to a win over the playoff-bound Blazers. And he was a perfect 5-for-5 from 3-point range. Sure, why not? Let’s see what Brooks has to offer next time out before freaking out over this performance. But if he’s got another one of these in him, he’s worth a look on the waiver wire.
