• Maurice Harkless - F - Trail Blazers

Maurice Harkless (knee) will miss Thursday's game against the Clippers.

Harkless will miss his seventh straight game on Thursday. In his stead Jake Layman will continue to start and Evan Tuner will play increased minutes off the bench.

  • Mike Muscala - F/C - Los Angeles Lakers

Mike Muscala (sprained right ankle) is now questionable to face the Rockets on Thursday.

Muscala was previously listed as probable. The Lakers will be thin up front tonight if he can't play. We'll keep you updated on his condition.

  • Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot - G/F - Chicago Bulls

Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (oblique strain) missed Thursday's practice and is questionable for Friday's game against the Magic.

Luwawu-Cabarrot has averaged 16.6 mpg in five games with the Bulls this season, so there will be some effects on the rotation here. Just not any that will change the landscape for fantasy owners.

  • Robert Covington - F - Minnesota Timberwolves

Robert Covington (right knee bone bruise) was able to go through a limited practice on Thursday but will not travel with the Wolves on their upcoming two-game road trip.

Covington was able to do some shooting drills that involved jabbing, pivoting and running before the break and it looks like another week has done him some good. We'd imagine that there's a minutes restriction upon RoCo's return considering he's already missed 20 games — and the team would be wise to decrease his playing time a bit either way — but it's a good time to pick him up if he's been dropped in any of your leagues.

  • Luc Mbah a Moute - F - Los Angeles Clippers

Luc Mbah a Moute (sore knee) will not travel with the Clippers for their next two games.

Mbah a Moute has only appeared in four games all season, so what's two more absences? There's no fantasy appeal here.

  • Wilson Chandler - F - Los Angeles Clippers

Wilson Chandler (right quad strain) will miss at least two more games.

Chandler isn't traveling on the Clippers' short road trip but it sounds like he'll be available sometime soon. With Landry Shamet seemingly locked into the starting five, it looks like Chandler will be coming off the bench for LA — not that it hurts his already-minimal fantasy appeal.

  • Landry Shamet - G - Los Angeles Clippers

Landry Shamet will continue to start for the Clippers, according to Doc Rivers.

The team is going with a three-guard configuration with Shamet starting alongside Patrick Beverley and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. It's big news for the rookie's fantasy outlook, and he's worth a look if you need 3-pointers. In three games with the Clips, Shamet has scored 17, 15 and eight points with at least one steal and two 3-pointers in each contest — he only say 24 minutes in that third game, a blowout against Phoenix. The arrow is pointing up here.

  • E'Twaun Moore - G - New Orleans Pelicans

E'Twaun Moore will only play in one of the Pelicans' upcoming back-to-back set, though it hasn't been determined if he'll play on Friday vs. Indiana or on Saturday vs. the Lakers.

Moore left last Thursday's game with a left knee contusion but was able to return. He's fallen back to deep-league consideration after starting the year as a 12-team asset.

  • Elfrid Payton - G - New Orleans Pelicans

Elfrid Payton (sprained right ankle) will return to the starting lineup on Friday against the Pacers.

Payton has missed the last nine games with his ankle injury, which is his third lengthy absence of the season. His return will bump Frank Jackson to the bench and could push Tim Frazier out of the rotation, though we'd imagine that there's room for everyone until Payton looks 100 percent again. He's worth adding in most formats.

  • Anthony Davis - F/C - New Orleans Pelicans

Anthony Davis will play in Friday's game against the Pacers.

New Orleans plays the Lakers on Saturday, and we'd bet on Davis sitting that one out. Unless the NBA rethinks its stance on forcing the Pelicans to play their superstar it's going to be a very awkward environment for the rest of the way. Fantasy owners can plug him into lineups tomorrow but this has the looks of a day-by-day situation, which is going to be a massive headache.

  • Goran Dragic - G - Miami Heat

Erik Spoelstra said that he's "not necessarily planning on playing" either Goran Dragic (right knee surgery) or Derrick Jones Jr. (right knee bone bruises) on Thursday against the Sixers.

Both players are available tonight but Spoelstra cautioned yesterday that they might need some more time before getting thrown back into the mix. Their returns will cloud Miami's already-muddled rotation even further, with players like Justise Winslow, Kelly Olynyk, Rodney McGruder and James Johnson among those who will feel the biggest impact. Pretty much everyone on the Heat is going to have some change in playing time, though that might not happen until Dragic and Jones get back to full strength.
