The Mavs selected Kostas Antetokounmpo with the 60th and final pick of the 2018 NBA draft.
Dallas acquired pick 60 from Philadelphia in a deal that saw them trade away No. 54. Antetokounmpo wasn't overly impressive in his year at Dayton but has the sorts of raw physical tools that NBA teams salivate over. In case you're wondering, yes, he is the younger brother of Giannis — not to be confused with the other Antetekounmpo basketball family. He canceled his workouts fairly early in the process which suggested a second-round promise (or an aggravated groin injury) but that wasn't the case. Kostas is a long-term project and a true flier pick, but it'll be a tidy piece of business for the Mavs if they're willing to be patient and develop him properly.
