As of August 1st, Beasley’s $1.4 million contract for next season became fully guaranteed and he will remain in Houston.
He averaged 12.8 points a game on 52.2 percent shooting overall in 20 games and is a cheap option for the Rockets to keep. He should fit in Mike D’Antoni’s system well and will be Trevor Ariza’s main backup. Look for him to contribute more for the team than for fantasy.
