Michael Carter-Williams had a quiet night in Thursday’s win over the Wizards, scoring just five points on 1-of-5 shooting with five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 20 minutes.
O.J. Mayo started and went for just two points, one board, one assist, one steal and one block in his 20 minutes, and usual nemesis Jerryd Bayless was a little bit better with seven points on 3-of-10 shooting with eight rebounds, two assists, one block and one three in 21 minutes. MCW has been up-and-down all season and his season-long top 70-100 value (8/9 cat) is a pretty good indicator of his future value. Bayless is always worth a short-term look as a lower-end option once he has established himself to be relatively healthy, and in the last six games he has produced late-round value.
