Michael Porter Jr. played his highest minutes total in over a month on Tuesday night, putting up six points (2-of-7 FGs, 3-of-2 FTs) and six rebounds in 14 minutes as the Nuggets lost to the Sixers.
Fantasy managers came into the season with cautious optimism that Porter might be a breakout player in the way that Ben Simmons had after sitting out his first year. That's obviously about as far from reality as can be. Porter just hasn't gotten consistent minutes on the deep Nuggets roster. And even if his minutes were to double to 17 per game, he wouldn't be worth an add. Porter has just five 3-pointers, three blocks and zero steals for the season.
