Michael Porter Jr. recorded his fourth straight double-double during Saturday's double-overtime win, finishing with 23 points and 12 rebounds in 45 minutes to go with two assists, two steals and one block.
The Nuggets were lucky to escape with the win on Saturday, needing two extra periods to get it done. MPJ has been a standout during the seeding games and has certainly found his feet. Jamal Murray returned in this one, however, the Nuggets still elected to go to Porter on a number of occasions. Even when the Nuggets get all their players back, there is certainly a case for Porter to remain with the starting unit. Based on the upside here, he is going to be a highly sought after player come next season.
