Mike Conley scored 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting (3-of-5 from deep, 5-of-6 from the line) with one rebound, four assists and two steals in the Grizzlies’ 109-100 home loss to the Suns.
This was an ugly loss for the Grizzlies and the only good news for them is that there is practically no chance they miss the playoffs holding an eight-game lead over the No. 9 Jazz with 20 games to play. If there was a team that could lose a lead like that it would be a Grizzlies squad that isn’t very good, and needless to say the rest of the West will be angling to play them in the first round. Conley has been up and down for much of the year but he’s holding down some late-early round value over the last two weeks.
