When asked about a potential return date for Chris Paul (Grade 2 hamstring strain), Mike D'Antoni said "realistically, toward the end of the month will be better."
Thursday marks three weeks since Paul sustained the injury and the Rockets will take their time with the star guard. Initially it was hoped that he could return in 2-to-3 weeks but that's not the case. Austin Rivers will continue to push 40 mpg with Paul and Eric Gordon (right knee contusion) on the shelf. Unfortunately for CP3 owners, he needs to be held in all fantasy leagues. He's burning a hole in your roster right now but might be able to post huge numbers down the stretch now that the Rockets are back on track.
