The Sixers announced today that Mike Muscala will be reevaluated in a week after suffering a fractured nose and a facial laceration in Tuesday’s practice.
The report also says that Muscala received six stitches and he will wear a protective mask once he is cleared to return. It’s an unfortunate turn of events for the big man who had a few nice games last week returning borderline top-200 value for owners in deeper leagues. With Wilson Chandler now healthy, the window of opportunity might have closed for Muscala while Amir Johnson will continue to provide solid backup minutes in Philadelphia.
