Nikola Mirotic played 17 minutes and shot 2-for-6 from the field for five points with one three, three rebounds and two assists while Doug McDermott was 0-for-2 from the field and 1-for-2 from the line for one point and three rebounds on Monday.
With Rose, Pau and Butler back in the lineup, it is hard to trust Mirotic, McDermott or Mike Dunleavy. The positive to this output is the Bulls still play four more games this week, so you might get more from them this week than you would from an average player with three games. That being said, Mirotic is barely posting late-round value and both Dunleavy and McDermott are outside of the top-200. In championship week, it’s hard to count on a guy like Mirotic but his game count is enticing enough to hold on to. All three of these options are nothing more than a source of occasional points outbursts and help with threes, which can be found on the wire. If you are keeping them, it’s for their games count the rest of the week. It’s time to drop Dougie McBuckets.
