Mitchell Robinson (sprained left ankle) is close to a return and was able to throw down a couple of dunks at Tuesday's shootaround.
Robinson will not play tonight but a return looks like it'll happen in the very near future. He says there's no lingering pain or discomfort in his ankle and is hopeful to play before New York's current road trip ends a week from today. When Robinson does return, it'll be interesting to see how David Fizdale divides up the playing time between him, Luke Kornet and Enes Kanter. Kanter's been benched for both players already but is getting increasingly vocal about his role with the team and is admittedly the best of the bunch, especially with Robinson and Kornet so early in their careers. That said, Kanter is an impending free agent and the Knicks aren't exactly trying to win games, so he might end up as the odd man out here. Robinson would be a great blocks specialist if he got the proper minutes so you can toss him on watch lists and make a move if he ends up playing enough.
