Michael Porter Jr. was selected at 14th overall in the 2018 NBA Draft by the Nuggets.
Finally, the wait is over for Porter Jr. who just sneaks into the back end of the lottery. From an on-court standpoint, Porter Jr. is one of the best offensive players in the draft and has potential to be a special player. The unfortunate side of that is the lack of on-court product we have seen. The back injury risk is absolutely in the picture and it would not be surprising to see the Nuggets ease him in slowly. Denver is theoretically a good landing spot where he can play off of good offensive big men in Nikola Jokic and Paul Millsap if he's actually on the court consistently.. For fantasy purposes, he's a high-risk play for someone who needs to build his game to be more than a scorer and rebounder with acceptable percentages.
