Moe Harkless (knee) says he's probable for Thursday's season opener and will prepare as if he's playing.
That's relatively encouraging but Harkless was twice listed as probable in the preseason before ultimately sitting out. He has been able to go through most of recent practices and even if he can play, the Blazers might opt to work him in slowly. He's not expected to see more than 20 minutes if he does play, but that doesn't answer questions about whether or not he'll start. Other small forward alternatives include Evan Turner and Jake Layman, though a healthy Harkless is easily the best fantasy option of the bunch. He's got some hurdles to clear before we have those conversations, though.
