Monte Morris was given the starting nod on Saturday, ending with 13 points to go with five assists and three rebounds in 28 minutes.
The Nuggets were forced to reshuffle their lineup after a number of players were ruled out prior to tipoff. Morris was bustled into the starting five, a position he is not completely unfamiliar with. Despite the promotion, he still managed only a moderate contribution. The Nuggets were completely outplayed during the second half meaning a number of their starters saw very little run during the fourth quarter. If Jamal Murray (hamstring) is forced to miss additional action, Morris would be the obvious choice to pick up the slack.
