Dejounte Murray drew the start over Tony Parker on Sunday and played well with eight points, seven boards, four assists, three steals and a block.
After the game Pop was in non-committal about who his starting point guard would be moving forward. Most of Murray’s value is tied to his steals and ability to rebound as a guard and he will be hard pressed to break into the top-150 unless he averages over a steal and a half a game. That said if he becomes the full time starter you could see Murray having value in 14-team leagues.
Update: It seems like Pop told Parker “he thought it was time” before the game started. Murray is worth the add in all 14-team leagues and could easily rise into 12-team contention if Pop picks him over Patty Mills as the starting point guard.
