Myles Turner took a backseat to Solomon Hill on Friday night, logging only 18 minutes. Pacers coach Frank Vogel has already named Myles Turner the starter against the Wizards on Saturday.
Vogel sat Turner to start the game in order to matchup with the Hornets on Friday. In their matchup last Friday, the Hornets hit 11 threes on the Pacers, so it is likely that Vogel was trying to slow down the Hornets from beyond the arc. Turner finished with eight points, three rebounds, one assist and one steal. He is still holding onto late-round value since the All-Star break, and the Pacers quick announcement to start Turner on Saturday shows their confidence in him going forward.
