Nemanja Bjelica played 34 minutes off the bench and double-doubled in Friday’s win over the Warriors.
Bjelica scored 10 points (4-of-12, one triple) and added 12 boards in a solid effort. He earned some preseason hype thanks to praise from Tom Thibodeau and did flash potential last season, so deep leaguers can start to pay attention. Bjelly profiles as a guy who simply has to play against Golden State, so that surely gave him a boost tonight. With Gorgui Dieng struggling lately and playing just 24 minutes tonight, we’ll have to keep an eye on the playing time of both guys going forward- even if tonight was a matchup thing.
