• Rondae Hollis-Jefferson could be in for a big year, according to Nets coach Kenny Atkinson.

Atkinson said that the third year forward has simplified his offensive game while showing he can also make an impact on the defensive end. He added that he gave him a certain amount of freedom to drive it and that he’s got the green light to shoot when he’s spotting up and he’s open. Hollis-Jefferson is averaging 10 points and six rebounds per game and the Nets are encouraged by what they’ve seen so far. As long as he is able to secure the starting power forward position Hollis-Jefferson seems worthy of a late-round pick in drafts.
