Nicolas Batum was a rare bright spot for the Hornets in Monday’s road loss, notching 11 points on 5-of-12 shooting to go with five rebounds, eight assists and four steals.
Batum did his damage in 30 minutes and received little support from the rest of the team tonight. Only four players finished in double figures for Charlotte, with Jeremy Lamb and Treveon Graham scoring 12 apiece and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist leading the way with 13. It’s no wonder the Hornets only scored 79 on the night. With nothing left to play for in the season finale, look for guys like Graham and Lamb to pick up extra run at the expense of regulars like Batum.
