Nick Young was force in the second half for the Los Angeles Lakers and was a key factor in their 108-119 win over the Phoenix Suns. He led his team in both minutes (36 mins) and scoring (22 points) in this one. Young knocked down three triples, hauled in seven rebounds, and added a steal and a block to round out his stat line.
Nick Young has been a no-no as far as fantasy basketball has been concerned over the last few seasons. Under coach Luke Walton, it seems Young has found a way to deliver some value in deep leagues via his role with the post-Kobe Los Angeles Lakers. This has by far been his best performance, but to-date Swaggy P is averaging at least 12 points and two triples per game. If you’re in a deep league and in need of treys and points, give him a look. Just be ready to swallow some poor shooting from the field when he has an off night.
