Nikola Jokic was productive with nine points, 14 rebounds to go along with a block and a trey on Wednesday night against the Grizzlies.
The 14 rebound were a game high and he was a beast on the glass against Zach Randolph. His role appears to be safer than it was earlier in the year especially with Jusuf Nurkic out due to an illness. Joffrey Lauvergne only played 16 minutes and Darrell Arthur played 23 minutes with both scoring 12 points a piece. When Nurkic returns, the value of the entire frontcourt figures to take a hit. Jokic has been a pleasant surprise this season at a seventh round value and could be a part of the Nuggets’ long-term plans.
