Nikola Jokic played 25 minutes in a loss to the Warriors on Monday, finishing with 21 points (8-of-17 from the field, 4-of-4 from the line), one 3-pointer, 13 boards, five assists, one steal and two turnovers.
Jokic was a per-minute monster tonight putting out a great effort against the best team in basketball. Jusuf Nurkic has re-entered the rotation recently and has been somewhat chipping away at his minute totals. Still, The Joker has been a top-40 asset in his last six games. During that span, he’s averaging 17.2 points, 8.5 boards, 5.2 dimes, 0.7 steals, 0.8 blocks, 0.7 treys and shooting 59.4% from the field. The guy is pretty good and if he can actually consistently crack 30 mpg, watch him be a top-20 stud.
