Nikola Jokic didn’t have his shot going in Wednesday’s loss to the Jazz, finishing 3-of-10 from the field on his way to seven points, 12 rebounds and eight assists in 35 minutes of action.
Jokic also hit a triple and committed four turnovers without pitching in any steals or blocks. Those are coming, and you get a real grasp for the talent level we’re talking about when 7-12-8 is a disappointing line. The Jazz are also a stiff defensive team, so credit Jokic for facilitating some ball movement to help keep Denver in this one into the fourth quarter. The Joker should be a first-round talent so long as he stays on the floor.
