Nikola Mirotic seems excited to be part of the Bulls’ new offense, telling K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune that “there’s no more holding the ball” and that “now it’s more free.”
There’s some serious shade being thrown there, but Mirotic probably isn’t wrong about some substantial changes coming in the Windy City. The Bulls have tons of balls in the air right now with only Robin Lopez locked in as a starter. It means that it’ll be tough to invest too much in any Chicago players until we see how the minutes are delegated, but we do like Mirotic’s stat set and opportunity. He should be a late-round play but has some upside, too.
