• Nikola Mirotic will make his Pelicans debut on Saturday against the Wolves.

Mirotic has checked all of the boxes this season by improving his shooting and rebounding while showing up bigger and stronger so he can get easier shots down low.  He goes to a New Orleans squad that needs him and may ultimately rely on him if anything happens to Anthony Davis.  He even has room to improve with steals and blocks, and could jump from 25 mpg to 30 mpg in a bat of an eye.  Though there may be some frictional risk, owners should evaluate him as an early round play with top-25 upside.  The market hasn’t even adjusted yet to how valuable he was (top-50) in Chicago.
