Nikola Vucevic helped carry Montenegro to a comeback victory over Georgia, scoring 17 points and snagging 11 rebounds while also dishing out four assists.
Vuc wasn’t efficient, shooting just 7-of-22 from the field. An interesting stat to take away from this game, however, is his 2-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc. He has talked about expanding his range and incorporating a 3-point shot to his game this season. Vucevic averaged 18.2 points and 8.9 rebounds last year and while he’s capable of putting up solid numbers, the additions of Serge Ibaka and Bismack Biyombo have made things a little sticky.
