• Mikal Bridges
    G/F, Phoenix Suns

No. 10 draft pick Mikal Bridges scored five points (1-4 from three) and added two rebounds and an assist in Friday's 90-55 thrashing of the Spurs.

He only played 12 minutes of the blowout but during his previous Summer League games, he averaged 22 minutes per game and still averaged just 6.5 points and 2.8 rebounds while he did contribute defensively with 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks. He spent a lot of time at power forward and maybe the key is that he's just too light (209 pounds) to play the four despite his length. New Sun Trevor Ariza should spend a lot of time at the four so maybe Bridges gets more time at his natural small forward position. As a high draft pick, he'll be given every chance to succeed but will have lots of competition for minutes with T.J. Warren and Josh Jackson also on the roster.
