Norman Powell finished with 12 points on 3-of-11 from the field, 2-of-7 from the field and 4-of-7 from the line in Monday’s loss to the Cavs.
It’s odd that Powell was tied with a team best +14 plus/minus when you look at his woeful shooting numbers tonight. Despite this however, his presence seems to give the Raptors a spark. The young guard played 21 minutes and it may be hard for him to find playing time with the size and defensive versatility of the Cavs frontcourt preventing the Raptors from being able to play smaller lineups. He will need to spark the Raptors even more in Game 2 on Wednesday.
