Norman Powell scored a season-high 23 points in Sunday's win over the Pacers, going 10-of-12 from the field with a steal and three triples in 32 minutes.
Powell was excellent tonight, and this is easily his best game in quite some time. He always tends to play well against the Pacers, as his playoff series a few years back can attest, but has managed double digits in five of the nine games since he returned from a shoulder subluxation. Norm hit some tough jumpers tonight and mixed in his knifing drives with some sound work on the defensive end. He's still not a fantasy target but the Raptors have to be thrilled that he's recaptured his form after last year's lost season. Full marks to Toronto's whole bench tonight, who rallied after combining for five points in 52 minutes on Friday. They had 52 points as a group tonight and anyone who saw action before garbage time finished plus-10 or better.
