Norman Powell started Game 2 against the Cavs on Wednesday, but was held to just eight points with five boards, two assists, one steal and one block.
He saw 27 minutes of action but had a +/- of -24 during his time on the court. The entire starting unit no-showed this game, however, so it’s hard to blame Powell for the poor performance. He shot an efficient 3-of-6 from the floor and 2-of-2 from the line, and DeMarre Carroll actively hurt his case to return to the starting lineup. We’d bet on Powell sticking with the starters for Game 3 in Toronto, but tune back in on Friday for more updates.
