February 16, 2019, 10:29 amNikola JokicC, Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets have agreed to extensions with president of basketball operations Tim Connelly and GM Arturas Karnisovas.
The Nuggets haven't reached the playoffs in the last five seasons but will surely end that streak this year. Their abundance of talent and depth currently has them in second place in the Western Conference although Paul Millsap, Gary Harris, Will Barton and Isaiah Thomas have all been injured for much of the season. Their draft choices and player development over the years has been a big catalyst for this as one could look at Nikola Jokic and the breakout seasons of Jamal Murray, Torrey Craig, Monte Morris and Malik Beasley, all of them having been with Denver since their first day in the NBA.

December 7, 2019, 7:11 pmTerrance FergusonSG, Oklahoma City Thunder
Terrance Ferguson (right hip) will miss Sunday's game.
Ferguson also missed Friday's contest, which allowed Abdel Nader to draw a start. The Thunder wing position isn't really a great spot for fantasy value regardless of who's healthy, but GMs in 30-team leagues can expect more run for Nader in the short term.

December 7, 2019, 7:08 pmJakarr SampsonSF, Indiana Pacers
JaKarr Sampson (back) has been ruled out on Saturday night.
Sampson is likely out of the rotation, as his last healthy games came when Indiana was shorthanded up front. There's minimal fantasy implications here.

December 7, 2019, 6:26 pmDanuel HousePF, Houston Rockets
Danuel House is expected to start at shooting guard during Saturday's game versus the Suns.
House has been dealing with an illness over the past week, but with that behind him he will look to reclaim his starting job. McLemore has been playing well, but is not worth owning with House healthy and starting.

December 7, 2019, 6:21 pmDwight PowellPF, Dallas Mavericks
Dwight Powell netted four points, six rebounds and three steals in only 18 minutes during Saturday's win over the Pelicans.
Powell followed Wednesday's 9-of-9 shooting night by shooting a perfect 2-of-2 on Saturday. Powell's night was cut short with the rest of the starters, but Powell will look to keep the ball rolling on Sunday versus the Kings.

December 7, 2019, 6:11 pmMalcolm BrogdonPG, Indiana Pacers
Malcolm Brogdon (sore right hand) will be a game time decision for Saturday's game versus the Knicks.
If Brogdon is forced to miss Aaron Holiday would most likely draw the start, with his brother Justin Holiday seeing a few extra minutes off of the bench. Aaron would be a valuable streaming and DFS option on the night.

December 7, 2019, 6:08 pmJalen BrunsonPG, Dallas Mavericks
Jalen Brunson dropped 14 points, two rebounds and three assists on 6-of-6 shooting during Saturday's win over the Pelicans.
Brunson saw extra run with Delon Wright (groin) leaving early and the game getting out of hand. If Wright if forced to miss time Brunson would see a boost in minutes, but the team still has Tim Hardaway Jr., Seth Curry and J.J. Barea to absorb minutes as well.

December 7, 2019, 6:04 pmJJ RedickSG, New Orleans Pelicans
J.J. Redick lead all Pelicans in scoring with 15 points to go along with two rebounds, one assist and one trey during Saturday's blowout to the Mavs.
Redick has continued to start and has been an elite three-point specialist. Usage will change once Zion Wiliamson returns, but until then Redick will continue to roll.

December 7, 2019, 6:00 pmLonzo BallPG, New Orleans Pelicans
Lonzo Ball couldn't find his shot on Sunday vs. the Mavs going 1-of-9 from the field for two points, four rebounds and two assists.
Balls played as many minutes as the rest of the starters during the blowout, but just couldn't hit a shot from deep going 0-for-7 from three. The positive is Ball taking seven shots from deep.
