Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas said he hopes to sign Gary Harris to a contract extension before the season begins, according to Gina Mizell of the Denver Post.
Harris as shown improvement across the board every year since being in the league. Last season he averaged 15 points, 3 boards, 3 assists and 50 percent from the floor in 57 games. Karnisovas said he hopes the two sides “can get something done before the season starts.” A deal seems to be in the works and Karnisovas said he is looking to lock in the guard for a long period of time. Harris makes for a solid mid-round option in all leagues.
