• The Nuggets have cemented four of their five starters but coach Mike Malone is hoping that one of the three point guard hopefuls takes charge and outright wins the job in camp.

Jamal Murray, Jameer Nelson and Emmanuel Mudiay are all competing for the right to start. Murray seems like the odds on favorite after a strong end to last season, and he’d easily be the most intriguing fantasy player of the trio. Nelson is a low-end plodder of a fantasy PG while Mudiay would need to make some serious strides in order to overcome the toxic shooting and turnover numbers he’s posted thus far. A timeshare would be the nightmare scenario, so keep an eye on this battle. Murray would be worth a late round selection as a starter while the other two aren’t worth standard league consideration.
