The Knicks were planning to give Ignas Brazdeikis a role with the big club down the stretch, per Marc Berman of the New York Post.
Brazdeikis was playing well in the G League with averages of 21.0 points while shooting 49.9 percent from the floor and 34.4 percent from downtown in 21 games. The G League’s regular season was scheduled to end on Friday, at which point the promising rookie would have been brought up. If and when the season resumes, Brazdeikis may very likely find himself in a similar situation that he was expected to be in. The Knicks were happy with his development, and he is someone to keep an eye on in dynasty leagues.
