• OG Anunoby - F - Toronto Raptors

OG Anunoby turned in the best game of his season on Wednesday night, scoring a career-high 22 points to go with five rebounds, a steal and four 3-pointers against the Wizards.

The Raptors were very shorthanded with Kawhi Leonard and Patrick McCaw both out, so Anunoby played a whopping 35 minutes. He went 9-of-14 from the field and stood out all night between his defense on Bradley Beal, decisive shot-taking and overall energy. The Indiana product was plus-18, second only to Pascal Siakam's plus-24. It's been a very rough sophomore season for Anunoby, and while he's not a fantasy factor going forward tonight was a glimpse of the ceiling that the Raptors have in mind when they refuse to include him in trade talks.

Fantasy News

  • Kent Bazemore - G - Atlanta Hawks

Kent Bazemore played 34 minutes in a spot start for Kevin Huerter (ankle) and scored 12 points to go with two 3s, seven rebounds and two steals in Friday's home loss to the Pistons.

Bazemore's minutes have been capped around 20 when Huerter is active so this doesn't spell a tend though he can be used as a DFS play on Saturday with Huerter also expected to miss that one. DeAndre' Bembry chipped in 10 points, one 3 and two steals in 17 minutes.

  • Dewayne Dedmon - C - Atlanta Hawks

Dewayne Dedmon scored 14 points (one 3) and added 12 boards, two assists, three blocks and a steal in Friday’s loss to the visiting Pistons.

Dedmon is sitting at a ripe top-50 value in 9-cat over the last two months and doesn’t look to be slowing down. John Collins added 19 points, three treys, six rebounds and a block in the loss.

  • Andrew Wiggins - G/F - Minnesota Timberwolves

Andrew Wiggins struggled with his shot on Friday, going 5-for-16 from the field to finish with 17 points.

Despite Wiggins' struggles on the offensive end, he was able to chip in elsewhere adding six rebounds, three 3s, one assist, two steals and two blocks. He's upped his game this season and if he continues to chip in with more peripherals on a regular basis, it would help move his value needle in the right direction.

  • Derrick Rose - G - Minnesota Timberwolves

Derrick Rose scored a team-high 20 points on 6-of-14 shooting to lead the Wolves to a 115-104 victory over the Knicks on Friday.

Rose also added two rebounds, three assists and three steals as well as sweet 8-of-8 shooting from the line to the box score. He's been a top-80 play in 9-cat on the season and is reliable as long as he can stay healthy. Jeff Teague added 12 points (5-of-11 shooting), one rebound, 11 dimes and one steal in 31 minutes.

  • Wayne Ellington - G - Detroit Pistons

Wayne Ellington drew the start on Friday and finished the road win over the Hawks with nine points, three 3s and a steal in 37 minutes.

Ellington didn't exactly light the gym on fire in his first start as a Piston but it's notable that he played 37 minute and took nine attempts from deep. Considering Detroit's good schedule in H2H, he's still a decent add if you need a 3-point specialist.

  • Tyus Jones - G - Minnesota Timberwolves

Tyus Jones returned from a 13-game absence with a sprained ankle on Friday and tallied four points, three rebounds and one assist in 17 minutes.

He's worth streaming for his steals in very deep leagues once he's 100 percent. As long as both Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose are healthy, Jones' value will be capped.

  • Reggie Jackson - G - Detroit Pistons

Reggie Jackson had his way with the Hawks, scoring 32 points (three 3s) and adding eight assists, five rebounds and two steals in Friday’s win.

Jackson has been bringing back top-50 value in 9-cat over his last five games which is loads better than the top-130 he has on the season. he won’t be this good going forward but any bit extra helps. Ish Smith had 10 points, a trey and four assists in 16 minutes but he won’t face the Hawks every game.

  • Taj Gibson - F - Minnesota Timberwolves

Taj Gibson drew the start for Karl-Anthony Towns (concussion) on Friday and was a pleasant surprise with 19 points (9-of-15 shooting), adding 10 rebounds, three dimes and two steals.

Taj is in for a jolt in short-term value while KAT is in the league's concussion protocol. He can be dropped once Towns is back and healthy.

  • Andre Drummond - C - Detroit Pistons

Andre Drummond dominated the Hawks in Friday’s win, scoring 26 points and adding 21 rebounds, five steals and a block.

Drummond also only hit 8-of-16 free throws but the counting stats were even better than usual. Even with the shaky free throw shooting, he;s been a top-20 play in 9-cat over the last few months. His backup, Thon Maker, added nine points, three 3s and two steals but will have to do it a few times against a team not named the Hawks to consider an add even in deep leagues

  • Thaddeus Young - F - Indiana Pacers

Thaddeus Young filled up the stat sheet in Friday's 126-111 win over the Pelicans, dropping 16 points on 6-of-18 shooting with seven rebounds, one assist, one 3, four steals and one block.

His shooting left a lot to be desired but you can count on Thad to bring reliable defensive counters on most nights. He's been a top-70 play in 9-cat over the past month.
