Victor Oladipo scored 28 points with nine rebounds, five assists, one steal and one block for Team Africa as they went down 108-97 to Team World in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The points were a game-high but not enough to get Team Africa their first win in the second installment of the Africa NBA Game. Oladipo was very aggressive on offense, attempting 25 shots from the field and making 11 of them. His scoring has always been his greatest strength and he should have plenty of opportunity to showcase this on his new team, the Indiana Pacers. His usage and shots should go up without having to play alongside Russell Westbrook and the Pacers will rely on his scoring with the departure of Paul George. He didn’t crack the top-75 last year but should be a good bet to break into that this year. Look for him in the middle of drafts, especially if you are short on points.
