Otto Porter finished with eight points, two assists and three boards on 4-of-8 from the field and 0-of-3 from deep While Marcin Gortat played 12 minutes and scored four points in a 102-110 loss to the Celtics on Monday.
Porter has seen a slight dip in his field goal percentage over the last four games, but we have seen dips like this for the wing in short periods of time throughout the year so don’t fret. He also drew a tough defensive matchup in Avery Bradley. Better days are ahead this week, including three games against the Hawks, Nets and Cavs. Gortat’s value, on the other hand, has plummeted past the 250’s over the last 15 games. The big man is averaging 10 fewer minutes per game than he was at the beginning of the year. He is really only good for rebounds at this point so if you don’t need that category then it may be time to cut bait.
