Otto Porter Jr. lead all scorers on Tuesday, putting up 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting with four 3-pointers and eight rebounds.
Porter was a perfect 2-for-2 from the line and we want more steals from him, but the four triples will suffice for now. He hit a shot to tie up the game at 89 a piece and followed it up with a jumper to give the Wizards a two point lead with 25 seconds left in a game they ended up winning. Porter has been the poster child for efficiency, hitting 47.8 percent of his shots over his past five games, which is actually a far drop from his 54.8 percent average on the season. He’s drilling 3s at a career-high 48.6 percent and the increased usage without Wall hasn’t had a negative impact on his efficiency. Porter is cruising along to a career-year and is blossoming into the third star the Wizards paid max money for.
