December 31, 2018, 1:55 pmOtto Porter Jr.F, Washington Wizards
Otto Porter returned to practice with the Wizards on Monday.
Porter has been sidelined with a quad muscle strain that also affected his right knee. With John Wall now down for the count we'd expect the Wizards to take it slow with Porter and sit him at the first sign of discomfort, but he should also be soaking up more usage whenever he does return to action. Technically, he was cleared to play on Saturday but the Wizards wanted him to go through a full practice before playing. It looks like Porter will be on the court shortly, so get ready to activate him in all formats. Jeff Green's run may be coming to an end, while Porter's return won't hurt Trevor Ariza too much.
