Otto Porter was largely absent during Wednesday’s 123-101 loss to the Celtics, scoring just 13 points in 26 minutes of action.
He saw his night cut short by the lopsided score, but even before this one was out of hand he was still strangely quiet. Porter shot a respectable 6-for-11 from the floor, but struggled to establish position against Jae Crowder and wasn’t able to feast on easy transition buckets against a locked in Celtics defense. He added four boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer to his scoring total. Porter will need to be significantly more assertive at home on Friday or the Wizards could be looking to pack in their season.
